WOODWARD, Okla. (AP) -- The search of the Woodward County Landfill for the remains of a missing 6-year-old boy has ended without success.
Undersheriff Monty Clem says the months-long search for the remains of Logan Tucker after searchers dug through layers of trash with no sign of the boy.
Logan was 6 when he was last seen in June 2002 and a tip led authorities to search the landfill for a suitcase believed to contain his body.
Clem says he's disappointed the boy's body wasn't found but is satisfied searchers did everything possible.
His mother -- Katherine Pollard -- is charged with first-degree murder in the case.
