A Jenks man is in the Tulsa County jail after Jenks Police say he exposed himself to a woman walking with her child.

24-year old Robert Flores is in jail, facing several charges.

This all started when a Jenks woman was taking a morning stroll with her child on the Jenks trail, near the Oklahoma Aquarium. She says a man jumped in front of her, pulled down his pants and started performing a lewd act.

Officers say the woman called her husband, who rushed over and chased the man's vehicle down. The husband ran the suspect's van off the road and held him until police could arrive. Jenks Police Chief Don Selle: "It's really good that we can take somebody like that off the street. With all the talk about the sex offenders, certainly if he's convicted of this, it would put him on the sex offender registry."

Investigators say Flores has done this before. According to a police report, he told police he wanted an attorney present because he "was suppose to go to court on the same kind of thing tomorrow."

Jenks Police don't want people chasing down suspected criminals and the husband could face charges. But Jenks Police officers say they are not pursuing a case against the husband.
