Hopes are fading that a former Tulsa woman who disappeared Monday while diving in Florida will be found alive.

The US Coast Guard says it called off it's search late Wednesday for Ashley Mauldin.

Mauldin, who graduated from TU in 2001, was snorkeling with friends in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of New Port Richey, Florida, when she failed to resurface.
