STIGLER, Okla. (AP) -- The city of Stigler in eastern Oklahoma is preparing a hero's welcome for Army Sergeant Nathan Potts, who's returning home Saturday after being injured in Iraq.

After spending a year in Iraq as an Army medic, Potts was wounded by a roadside bomb on December 14th.

Potts will return Saturday on a convalescent leave to Stigler and to a parade in his honor organized by his family, the Stigler Chamber of Commerce and VFW.

Potts says he's grateful for the parade, but doesn't feel like a hero.

The explosion took Potts' right leg, right middle finger and a tooth.

Potts has a wife, Ginger Potts, and two children Brocke, 9, and Brooke, 7.

Potts has been in rehabilitation at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington since his return from Iraq in December and says he's feeling well and is now walking with a prosthetic leg.
