Some Sand Springs students celebrated the Fourth of July holiday a little early.
They paraded through downtown Sand Springs in a sea of red, white and blue. The floats were built by the 4th and 5th graders, while the younger kids waved Old Glory.
This is the first year for the parade.
It's all part of Project Summer Spirit, a project that provides safe, educational and enriching activities for Sand Springs elementary students during the summer months.
