STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- A marine engine builder plans to add about 100 jobs through an expansion of its die-casting operations in Stillwater.

Mercury MerCruiser plans to spend $13.5-million on the expansion.

Rick Estus is the plant's director of operations. He says the expansion will take place in two phases.

The first phase will cost $5.5-million and include constructing a new building and adding two die-cast machines. The building will have room left over to add five more machines in phase two of the expansion.

MerCury MerCruiser already employs about 1,000 people and is Stillwater's largest private employer.
