Hundreds of new jobs are coming to Mayes County.

Governor Brad Henry has announced PepsiCo is building a new plant at the Mid-America Industrial Park in Pryor.

Nearly 300 workers will turn out "Gatorade" and "Propel" fitness water. Some position will be filled as early as January.

Pepsi predicts the plant will have a $5-billion to $7-billion impact on the economy in the first ten years of operation.
