NORMAN, Okla. (AP) First-year Oklahoma State men's golf coach Mike McGraw receives a national coaching honor less than a week after he guided the Cowboys to the NCAA title.

McGraw has been named as the Eaton Golf Pride Dave Williams Award winner as the national coach of the year by the Norman-based Golf Coaches Association of America.

McGraw guided OSU to five tournament wins this season, including the NCAA Central Regional and NCAA Championship.

The Cowboys placed no lower than a tie for fourth in 12 stroke-play events.
