SAPULPA, Okla. (AP) -- A Sapulpa man is jailed on a $500,000 bail after being accused of using his truck to run down and kill another man after a bar fight.
Daryl Wilson is charged with first-degree murder in the death of John Cox of Sapulpa.
Deputies say Cox was found pinned between the front of Wilson's pickup and the bank of a drainage ditch.
Investigators say Cox and his brother, Hobie Cox, had attacked Wilson outside a Sapulpa bar early Saturday.
Creek County deputies say Wilson then got another man and went looking for the Cox brothers and found them walking along a nearby street.
Deputies say Wilson and the second man apparently got out of the truck, then Wilson got back in and drove after the two, sideswiping Hobie Cox before hitting John Cox.
Hobie Cox was hospitalized with numerous cuts and bruises, a sprained ankle and a back injury.
