ALEX, Okla. (AP) -- A crop-duster crashed and burned in rural Grady County Friday morning after clipping power lines.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says pilot Allen Howell of Pocassett was able to walk away from the crash and was hospitalized after being picked up near the crash site about three miles east of Alex.
Trooper Kera Philippi says Howell has cuts and possibly a broken shoulder.
The plane owned by American Dusting Company of Chickasha was a 1979 Ag-Cat which is a biplane commonly used in crop-dusting.
The plane crashed just before 8:30 AM Friday morning in an open field.
