Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor is asking supporters of former Mayor Bill LaFortune for donations.

She's looking for help to pay off more than $1-million in campaign debt. Much of the deficit is from loans she made to her campaign.

Letters went out to LaFortune supporters last week in an effort to bridge the gap between the parties.

Another version of the letter was sent to donors to Taylor's campaign asking for additional contributions.
