A Sapulpa grandmother has been arrested, accused of abusing her 13 month old granddaughter.

65-year-old Emaline Smith took the child to the hospital over the weekend and told doctors the baby's sister had jumped on her.

Sapulpa Police say Smith admitted later she was changing the child's diaper and when she wouldn't stop crying, Smith says she threw the baby on the floor.

The baby is on life support with a skull fracture and bleeding in the brain. Doctors don't know if she'll survive.
