A deadly shooting in East Tulsa. It happened around 2:30 Saturday morning at the Village East Apartments near 23rd and 116th East Avenue.

Police say brothers Javier and Jesus Caranza were approached by two men with a gun. When the brothers ran, the men shot both of them. Javier was hit in the chest and died at the scene. He was in his mid-20s. 23-year-old Jesus was shot in the lower back. He was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in fair condition.
