OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Governor Brad Henry signed legislation that some state officials say now makes Oklahoma's existing living will law constitutional.
Under the new legislation, Oklahomans will now be able to designate whether they want to be kept alive by lifesaving hydration and nutrition.
Attorney General Drew Edmondson had found the original law to be unconstitutional.
Henry said Wednesday living wills are paramount because they can alleviate the agony and indecision of a person's family.
