Some Tulsa area teachers took to the streets Monday.
They walked near 71st and Garnett, hoping to draw attention to a $3,000 a year raise for public school teachers that is stalled right now in the Oklahoma Legislature.
They also want state lawmakers to pass a $1,000 raise for all school support staff.
The teachers are asking the public to contact state lawmakers Tuesday to show their support for the raises.
