The Tulsa school board had another interview Tuesday for the soon-to-be-vacant superintendent’s job.
The second of four candidates was interviewed Tuesday. Dr. Johnny Brown is an education consultant from Stone Mountain, Georgia.
He got the chance to explain why he thinks he's the best man for the job at a news conference. "I'm prepared to work with all concerned in making the difference for assuring that again we continue the excellence of where he have excellence in place and building on that which is good."
Two more candidates will be interviewed this week and we'll hear from them in the days ahead.
Current superintendent Dr. David Sawyer retires at the end of June.
