A Tulsa woman is coping with a rape she says started when a man kicked in her front door.
The woman lives in an apartment near 88th and South Lewis. She says the man broke in at 4 AM and the rape lasted more than two hours.
She says the man threatened to hurt her dog if she did not comply. Rape survivor: "In the beginning, I fought until he put a pillow over my head and part of a blanket in my mouth, because I was yelling.â€
She says he left when she had an asthma attack. He stole her purse, which was found about a mile away.
She believes this is the same man who tried to break into her apartment two weeks ago. She also reported that to Tulsa Police.
If you know something about this attack or have seen a prowler in that area, call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
