NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- University of Oklahoma graduates will have a well-known speaker at their commencement ceremony on Friday.
Katie Couric -- who soon is leaving the "Today" show on NBC to become the anchor of the CBS Evening News -- will address OU graduates. OU President David Boren said students have been asking for three years for Couric to speak at graduation.
The graduation ceremony will be held at OU's Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
