A Good Samaritan winds up in the Tulsa County jail.

An officer saw a man with a van pick up three people. He thought it was suspicious. A check of the tag shows the van was stolen over the weekend.

The van was later spotted at the Best Value Inn in east Tulsa. The driver tried to run off, but he was arrested.

The hotel is where a man, woman and child were staying. They say they didn't know the suspect and he offered to give them a ride to the hotel.
