OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A federal grand jury in Oklahoma City has indicted an Oklahoma City man on charges of fraud and unauthorized sale of government property -- including military-issued body army.
Aaron Thomas Gates is accused of offering military items for sale on the Internet auction site eBay. Officials say it's not clear yet how Gates got the body armor.
The indictment says Gates began offering military items for sale online in April 2003 and made four sales for nearly $3,000.
The indictment says that Defense Department policy is to destroy the items which Gates is accused of selling.
