Jenks Kids Hold A Hop-A-Thon For MDA

Some Tulsa children gave their all to help a friend in need Wednesday. <br/><br/>The preschool at Jenks Church of Christ held a hop-a-thon Wednesday morning. Each child hopped for a maximum of two minutes.

Some Tulsa children gave their all to help a friend in need Wednesday.

The preschool at Jenks Church of Christ held a hop-a-thon Wednesday morning. Each child hopped for a maximum of two minutes. Their goal is to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the name of their friend Cooper, who has MD.

Cooperâ€™s mom Emilie Parsons: "They were great, they were energetic, enthusiastic, they've learned on their level what MD is, and they know they're doing something important."

The kids hope to raise $600.
