NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Long-time political activist EZ Million of Norman says he's joining the race for lieutenant governor.
Million says he's running as an independent and says his priority is to make sure this year's Oklahoma-Texas football game is played in Norman. He says if OU regents refuse to schedule the game in Norman he'll try to get legislation to force the game be played in Norman.
Others running for lieutenant governor are Republican state Representative Todd Hiett and Senators Scott Pruitt and Nancy Riley. Democrats in the race are Representative Jari Askins and Pete Regan of Afton who is a former chief of staff to Congressman Dan Boren.
Current Lieutenant Governor Mary Fallin is running for Congress.
