OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- North Carolina authorities arrest two men wanted in connection with the death of a Texas man whose body was found in a restroom at an Interstate 35 rest stop.

The body of Rufus Thomas Lowery of Grand Prairie, Texas, was found Monday at the rest stop near Thackerville in far southern Oklahoma.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown says that authorities in Salisbury, North Carolina, arrested Timothy Byford and Shawn Leggett yesterday on first-degree murder warrants.

She also says that Byford, who is from North Carolina, was found in Lowery's vehicle that was missing from the crime scene in Oklahoma.
