NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Arkansas Attorney General Mike Beebe says he's not sitting still in a dispute between his state and Oklahoma over water pollution and poultry firms.
Beebe told the Arkansas Farm Bureau he's exploring every option but wouldn't elaborate on his plans because he says he doesn't want Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson to find out through the news media.
Edmondson is suing the poultry firms over pollution he says they've caused in eastern Oklahoma water.
Beebe -- who is running for governor in Arkansas -- has tried to take the dispute to the US Supreme Court but the court rejected that effort.
