OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma Legislature approved a bill Monday that seeks to outlaw an Internet scam in which people are misled to reveal personal information.
The bill now goes to Governor Brad Henry.
The scam is used by identify thieves to lure Internet users into providing financial and personal information.
This is often done with an e-mail that looks as though it was sent by a legitimate source such as Ebay, Citibank or other businesses.
