Sand Springs firefighters had a hard time battling a house fire Wednesday morning, because there were no fire hydrants in the area.
Firefighters had to shuttle in water from a half a mile away to fight the flames. They say another problem was that the home at 9822 Movilla Hills Drive, had been renovated several times over the years, so they had to use thermal imaging cameras to search for flames in hidden areas of the attic.
Two people were home at the time, but got out safely because the smoke detector went off.
No word on what started the fire.
