If you have old computer equipment you need to get rid of, but don't know how. The News on 6 may have a solution. You can drop it off this Saturday and help out a good cause in the process.
The North Pole Computer Project delivers refurbished computers and educational software to dozens of less fortunate children every year at Christmas.
The group is run by a retired police officer. Anything they can't rebuilt, they'll recycle. It's free, but they ask for a small donation to cover the recycling costs.
Again, it is this Saturday, at 5719 East 13th Street from 10 AM to 4 PM and they'll have volunteers in the parking lot to assist you.
