OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Hundreds of acres are charred in another series of grass fires, including one near Henryetta that burned about 75 acres.

Officials say firefighters were able to control a large fire four miles west of Henryetta just after noon Sunday before being called to a nearby fire to the south of the community. No buildings were damaged and no injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, two single-engine air tankers and a fire task force were deployed to the town of Tribbey Sunday afternoon to battle a wildfire. South of Tecumseh, the fire burned about 40 acres by Sunday afternoon.

Another fire south of Stillwater in Payne County burned about 40 acres. A blaze near 101st Street south in Sapulpa burned three acres Sunday afternoon. One barn was damaged. No one was injured. Crews worked to make sure hot spots didn't cause any problems.
