OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Dozens of soldiers from the 95th Division Army Reserve met today at Tinker Air Force Base to say farewell to family and friends.
The 95th division will deploy to Afghanistan to train soldiers for the Afghan National Army.
Sergeant First Class John Holten -- a high school wrestling coach at US Grant in Oklahoma City -- will be gone for at least a year.
Holten says the school, its principal and staff have been very supportive.
Holten also leaves behind a wife and two young children.
The soldiers were scheduled to leave shortly after the farewell ceremony today and will be transferred to a mobilization station in Mississippi to receive final training.
