6 oz. spaghetti 2 tbsp. butter 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 2 eggs, well beaten 1 lb. ground beef 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 cup cottage 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook spaghetti and drain. Stir in butter, Parmesan cheese and eggs. Place this spaghetti mixture into a buttered 10-inch pie plate and form into a crust. Set aside.
In a skillet, brown meat. Drain off excess fat. Add onion and green pepper and sauté until vegetables are tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar and garlic salt. Cook this mixture for 10 more minutes.
Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust. Next spread meat-tomato mixture over the cottage cheese. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Bake for 30 minutes.
