House Fire Kills One And Sends Another Person To The Hospital

A house fire in Tulsa has killed one person and a second person is in the hospital in critical condition. The fire broke out at 9 pm Wednesday in a home at 28th and Utica. A passerby saw smoke and when Tulsa firefighters arrived, they found the den of the home in the flames. The fire was quickly put out.

The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of next of kin. Officials say the home did not have power because of the ice storm earlier this week.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
