2 lb. of 90/10 hamburger (10% fat) 1/4 cup bread crumbs 2 eggs 3/4 cup Italian sauce (preferably homemade) 2 Tablespoons of parsley (fresh) 1/2 red bell pepper 1/4 white onion 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
Directions:
Place all ingredients except the hamburger into a blender and set on puree until all lumps disappear. Mix into hamburger gently, add salt and fresh ground pepper and pat into loaf pan. Do not compact the meat as that will cause it to become tough. Bake 1 hour in 350 oven and watch in amazement as your kids devour onion and bell pepper ( in disguise)!
