Ingredients:
2 cups grated pears ( peel left on)
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour, sifted
1 Tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
In a medium bowl add pears and sugar. Let stand for 20 minutes.
Add dry ingredients to egg mixture with teh grated pears. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup nuts. Beat thoroughly until mixed.Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in a greased and floured bundt or tube pan. Yield: 8 - 10 servings.
