Volunteers With Asbury UMC Collects Gift Cards For Healthcare Workers

A local church found a unique way to thanks those working on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.

On Saturday, volunteers with Asbury United Methodist Church collected thank you cards along with gift cards for Tulsa restaurants to give to workers at Saint Francis hospital.

"We have heard some just great stories people are really grateful for the things that this church is able to do and i do think we are able to provide just some great hope and comfort for people in really difficult times," said Executive Pastor Daniel Dennison.

The church also handed out spiritual journals to those who made donations.
