A Locust Grove Cattle owner says someone came onto his property and shot and killed two of his pregnant cows with bows and arrows.

His cousin was able to capture pictures of two people walking away from their property, wearing full camo, carrying bows.

Aaron Baker owns the cattle and says when he got home he found two of his cows dead with arrows in them.

“I got a phone call saying I had cows running around with arrows in them and blood squirting all over the place,” says Baker. “As soon as I got back there I found one cow just laying there dead, we looked around and walked upon another one dead. She had her feet tangled up in the fence.”

He says part of his fence is down, which let out the other cows.

“I don’t know if the other seven are dead or if they are just waiting on me to find them,” says Baker.

Baker said he’s spent the last 24 hours searching the area for the seven missing cows. He says if he can’t find them, he will

lose more than $10,000.

“It’s a heavy impact. It will take me a while to recover from it,” says Baker.

Sgt. Jeff Halfacre with the Wagoner County Sheriff’s office says this isn’t a crime they see often... but it hits the community hard when it happens.

“It’s pretty shocking. This is what these people do for a living. This is their livelihood,” says Halfacre. “Whenever they do something like this it’s going to cost them thousands of dollars.”

If you have any information or recognize the people on the pictures call the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office at 918-485-3124.
