Tulsa Police say officers took a fugitive into custody early Thursday morning.

Police say Corey Gregory was wanted by TPD, Creek County and U.S. Marshals.

Officers say a tip led them to a house near 33rd West Avenue and Highway 412 early Thursday morning, where they were told Gregory was staying.

Police say officers set up near the house and watched Gregory and woman leave in a stolen SUV just before 1 a.m.

Officers say they tried to stop Gregory, but say he sped off and a pursuit began. Police say Gregory drove onto the Katy Trail to try and get away from officers.

"Whenever he crossed over the Katy Trail and onto West Admiral Blvd, he entered a ditch located on the south side and lost control of the vehicle and then his vehicle was stuck in a ditch,” said Lt Brett Bilyeu.

Bilyeu says Gregory tried to run off after getting the SUV stuck, but couldn't get away and officer arrested him.

U.S. Marshals say Gregory is a known member of the United Aryan Brotherhood gang. Court records show Gregory had warrants for violating probation, possession of a stolen car and carrying a weapon as a felon.

Police say they found drugs and a loaded pistol in the SUV.

Officers also arrested the passenger, Elaine Jones, on several complaints including possession of drugs and joyriding.
