Haskell County Inmate Found Dead

A Haskell County inmate was found dead in his cell Saturday morning.

The sheriff's office says a Detention Officer spoke to the inmate, then about two hours later, other inmates told jail staff the man was unresponsive.

The sheriff's office reports that there are no signs of foul play so far. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.

The inmate's name has not been released.
