Watch: USNS Mercy leaves Port of Los Angeles

WATCH: The USNS Mercy left the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, CA on Friday after being docked there for seven weeks. The hospital ship was deployed to treat non-COVID-19 patients, to take the burden off medical centers on land during the pandemic surge. Medical personnel from the ship will remain behind to offer support in the ongoing response to the virus.
