On Wednesday, Oklahoma Educators will have the opportunity to learn more about the Tulsa Race Massacre.

The Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission teamed up with Tulsa Public Schools to offer a webinar series for Oklahoma teachers — and the first session is on Wednesday.

It’s a four-part web series featuring different speakers and topics.

Wednesday's session talks about Tulsa’s Greenwood District before the massacre and features Hannibal Johnson as the keynote speaker.

There are three more sessions, including how to understand the massacre, lessons learned from the massacre, and how to teach Oklahoma students about the massacre.

The webinar sessions are happening on Wednesdays for the next three weeks.

If you're an Oklahoma teacher and are interested in attending, you can register here.
