Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums Reopen After 3 Month Closure Due To COVID-19 Pandemic

The Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums reopened on June 1 after being closed for three months because of the coronavirus pandemic. According to museum employees, about 1,600 people reserved tickets ahead of the opening. Visitors had their temperatures checked and were required to wear a mask.
