5-Year-Old Child Drowns In Swimming Pool, Tulsa Police Investigating

Tulsa Police are investigating after a young child drowned in a swimming pool near 81st and South Wheeling.

Police say a neighbor spotted the 5-year-old child face down in the pool and called for help. The responding officer performed CPR until EMSA arrived. The child was transported to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to police, the child and 3-year-old had managed to sneak out of their apartment and into the pool while their parents were asleep. The 3-year-old is alive and did not get into the pool according to police.
