Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission, TPS Holding Webinar For Teachers

On Wednesday, Oklahoma educators have the opportunity to learn more about the Tulsa Race Massacre.

This is the last of four sessions teachers have been able to attend.

This four-part webinar series is all about education that way educators can teach in the best way possible.

The Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission teamed up with Tulsa Public Schools to offer webinar serious for Oklahoma teachers that began a month ago.

Every Wednesday, teachers have had the opportunity to hear four different speakers are four topics surrounding the massacre.

Today is the final session; the commission says they hope this has taught teachers how to understand the massacre, lessons learned, and how to better teach students.
