Governor Kevin Stitt will meet with President Trump Thursday to talk about Oklahoma's economy.
Governor Stitt's office said Thusday's meeting at the White House is to solely to talk about the economy and how to get small business back on their feet.
The governor's meeting with President Trump comes two days before the President's rally at the BOK Center, but that's apparently not the focus of the meeting.
Governor Stitt has said that his goal during the pandemic is to keep Oklahomans safe while continuing to support small businesses.
The meeting also comes week before President Trump and Congress are set to work on another economic aid package.
A range of options for that relief package include unemployment aid and more money to states and local governments to alleviate the impact of COVID-19.
