A man on a bicycle was hit by a deputy’s SUV near the BOK Center Thursday morning.

Michael Crawford is from Arkansas and said he was here because of a funeral. Crawford had nothing to do with President Trump's rally this weekend at the BOK Center.

The collision happened at the intersection of 3rd street and Denver Avenue in downtown.

Crawford was riding his bicycle down 3rd street when he collided with the deputy’s vehicle.

The deputy wasn’t injured, but his vehicle did suffer some minor dents and a broken passenger mirror.

Crawford was treated by EMS on the scene and was able to walk moments after the accident.

“[My] shoulder is a little sore; it might be sore for a while. It wasn’t the first injury I’ve had, and it won’t be the last,” Crawford said.

Crawford was given an ice pack for his left shoulder.

He said he plans to still attend the funeral.
