Governor Stitt announced on Friday that $30 million will go toward funding 3 new education initiatives.

The money will come from the GEER funding and will be put towards Learn Anywhere Oklahoma, Bridge the Gap Digital Wallet and Stay in School Funds.

The Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) Fund was authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) and was designed to enable governors to be able to meet needs of students, schools, and other education-related organizations.
