No Indications Of Mass Graves At Current Oaklawn Location, Officials Say

Officials said on Wednesday that the location they were searching in Oaklawn did not have indications of mass graves.

State Archaeologist Dr. Kary Stackelbeck said "unfortunately things did not transpire the way we hoped that they would."

Stackelbeck also said they have exhausted their efforts in this area.

However, officials said this is not the end even though this location did not have evidence of possible mass graves.

"We are just beginning and we are not finished" officials said.
