Old Prue School Building Catches Fire

Firefighters were on the scene Saturday night as the old Prue school building caught fire on Old School Road by Keystone Lake.

Officials say this is not the current school complex but was a special building for many in the area. The fire department got the call around 8 p.m. Saturday night and say they had contained around 2 a.m. Sunday morning. No other structures around it were damaged and no injuries were reported. No word yet on what caused the fire. The Fire Department and Osage Co. deputies are investigating.
