A class ring from the 1930’s was recently found in a car about to be crushed. On Monday, it was reunited with the owner’s family in Tulsa.
Diana Willey said she didn’t even realize her mother had lost a class ring, or even had one in the first place. Willey said she was emotional when she learned about the ring and is excited to keep it in the family.
“We have several children and grandchildren so this is something we can keep and treasure and give to our kids and grandkids,” Willey said. “We were very pleased.”
Lovetta Phipps said Facebook groups dedicated to returning lost class rings helped her find the owner’s family.
