Route 66 Replica Neon Sign Installed At Avery Plaza

The first of three Route 66 replica neon signs was installed Friday at Avery Plaza Southwest in Tulsa.

The Tulsa Route 66 Commission said that the three signs represent the three eras of Route 66 in Tulsa.

The other two signs are scheduled be installed within the month and there will be a formal ‘Lights On’ ceremony once all the signs are in place.

The signs will commemorate the history of Route 66 throughout the city.
