Tulsa Firefighters Help Man Stuck In A Treehouse Overnight

A man is in the hospital after Tulsa fire said he got stuck in a treehouse overnight.

The Tulsa fire department said just past midnight they got a call that a man was stuck in a treehouse since his stomach pain was so bad that he couldn’t get himself down.

TFD said when they arrived at the treehouse behind the QuikTrip at I-244 and Sheridan they began cutting branches off of the tree, and then rigged a safety line. They said they put the man in the harness and he slowly was able to climb down with the help of the safety harness. EMSA then took him to the hospital to treat the hernia that was causing his severe stomach pain.

Firefighters said there was another man in the treehouse at the time as well but he wouldn’t come down so they left him there.
